🥟 Pierogi Dough Recipes 🥟

Here are a few dough recipes, each with its own unique characteristics, perfect for making delicious pierogi dough. 


The Family Recipe:


You will find this pierogi dough easy to work with, moist, elastic, and incredibly tasty.


Equipment Needed:

- Mixing bowl

- Mixing spoon

- Optional - mixing/kneading machine

- Water glass or measuring cup


Ingredients:

- 2.5 cups flour

- 2 eggs

- 1 Tbsp sour cream

- 1 Tbsp cream cheese

- 1 Tsp of salt

- Water as needed


Instructions:

1. Sift the flour.

2. Mix ingredients in a bowl, slowly adding water while mixing.

3. Continue to mix and add water until the dough becomes a sticky ball.

4. Coat the sticky ball of dough with flour.

5. Let it sit for 10 minutes.


Makes:

- 35 pierogies

- I recommend using a machine with a kneading hook attachment for best results. These cooking tips will help ensure your pierogi dough is perfect every time.

Grandma's Recipe:


This cherished recipe has been passed down from my grandma, and it features a delightful pierogi dough that's on the lighter side, perfect for making delicious pierogies.
